| Experience: | I have unofficially tutored before, at both middle school and high school levels across a variety of subjects (i.e. those listed above.) I have also officially been a tutor for a young man attempting to pass the GED. He passed the first try after months of diligent studying, despite his reluctance to do so. I graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA and received a 30 on the ACT. I took all honors classes and multiple AP classes including US History, Psychology, Macroeconomics, US Government, English, Western Civ, and Studio Art. Currently, I am getting my Bachelors in Hospitality Management so that I can obtain my teaching certificate. I have a passion for teaching, and plan to do so for my career as a Culinary Instructor. However, I do enjoy and am quite proficient at tutoring in a variety of areas. |
| Hobbies: | I am very well rounded, and have been involved with so many different things over the years that it is hard to keep track. I was extremely involved the Arts and Music, specifically choir. I played soccer for 8 years, and was involved with an unofficial Ultimate Frisbee group. I ran the psychology club in high school, and was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa (History Honors Society) as well as the National Honors Society. Other activities included book clubs, student council, and yearbook club. Because of all the things I've done over the years, it is very easy for me to relate to most people with no problem at all. |
